my story

My hairdressing career began over a decade ago. I have trained with Vidal Sassoon, Aveda, Davines, and most recently, with Wella. I have experience working on film and television sets, behind the chair in large and medium size salons, and I was so lucky to be a member of a groundbreaking boutique salon team in Echo Park for 7 years. I now host my guests in a private studio in North East Los Angeles.

I am most passionate about providing a safe, private, and welcoming space for my guests and giving them the luxury hair styling that they deserve, without having to visit a chaotic and large salon. My clientele are seeking high-vibe, low-toxicity in their hair processing and hair aftercare for at home. I am passionate about providing space for a wide variety of folks with a wide variety of needs. I offer silent appointments for folks who need some quiet time, and am comfortable working with neurodivergent populations.

My passion is for blonding and lightening hair. I have been using modern methods for lightening hair for my entire career and will always act with the best intention for integrity of your hair. I love lived-in, low-maintenance hair that is easy to style and easy to care for, and I specialize in fine hair. I prefer to process the hair in as natural a way possible while always achieving outstanding results.

I do not currently work with children.

The brands you will currently find in my studio are: Wella, InCommon MAGIC MYST, & Color Wow. I am committed to always staying open to finding new and improved aftercare products that also provide peak styling ease. The color lines I work with are Wella and Pulp Riot, and I am a certified color educator with more than ten years experience.

I stand with the LGBTQiA+ Community, and

My studio is a safer-space for all folks in the in the LGBTQIA family AND our allies. I welcome Queer, Gay, NonBinary and Trans folks to my space and prioritize their safety and comfort always. I am a member of Strands for Trans and the Dresscode Project listed as a Safer-Space Salon, as well a being a listed studio with Everywhere is Queer. If you have any questions about these topics, please contact me directly, either via email or via my Instagram account DM’s. I usually take 24-48 hours to respond.

Your hair is 90% of your selfie.

Appointments at my studio are available via text only. Why?

My goal is to ensure that your appointment is correctly scheduled. I manage this by booking each appointment personally. I do not schedule more than one client at a time and you will always have my full attention. I believe that modern hair color processes are a craft and require attention to detail in order to achieve what you envision for your dream hair. I do my best work when I work with one client a time, rather than double booking and detracting from your client experience as well as my own ability to do my very best work.
